Webarcher is a small utility designed to convert the well known Safari webarchive format to the Konqueror war archives or to download HTML pages as war archives. The benefit of the Konqueror war archive: It is smaller (usually half the size of the Safari archiv format), non-proprietary and can be opened on any operating system, not only the Mac OS! On the Mac OS it can be opened in Safari with the small tool SafariWar. It is available on this website in the software section.
To convert one or more webarchives simply drag and drop one or more archives onto the application icon or onto the image in the application window. Note that all files dragged onto Webarcher must be of type 'webarchive', otherwise the drag is rejected.
